The new 2013 Ford Mustang GT500
Ford has certainly raised the competition bar with their new 2013 GT500. Its the most powerful and agressive Mustang they've ever built! It also has some pretty substansial number figures like a top speed of 200mph and a 0-60 time of under 4 seconds! Some are claiming they'e hit 0-60 as low as 3.6 seconds in this beast. The exterior styling has also improved a bit (our favorite being the new quad exhaust tips).
Here are some more stats for this car:
Engine: 5.8L supercharged V8
Horsepower: 650bhp
Top Speed: 200mph
0-60mph: 3.8
It seems like Ford has built an incredibe new Mustang and we're not sure what Chevrolet fans are going to think of this. The new GT500 is pointed straight at the Camaro ZL1.

by Matthew Isbell 2 months agoZL1/Chevy fan's thoughts: The new GT500 is badass yes. But it's pathetic at the same time. Ford thinks that a .4L bore and another 100hp with take down the ZL1? Most likely in a straight line, but in any other category the GT500 is gonna be left in the dust. So Ford has A LOT of ground to cover if they think they've built a car to compete with this new Camaro. -
by Michael Stonich 2 months agoI can't wait to see a head to head video comparison of this and the ZL1.. If Ford is up to their usual standards then I'm sure the handling will be terrible but it seems pretty legit on a straight line
