Bought this car from original owner back in 1985 when I was a punk teenager, with the intention of street racin. Though the years it has had numerous different motor and trans combo's, everything from a dual quad 427 with a 5 speed to a 496 5/speed to it's present blown 509 turbo 400. This car gets driven and still driven hard because thats what it is built for.Have had numerous other cars and rods (32 ford w/bbc, 5 olds cutlass' 4 camaro's ,early monte carlo, but always loved my Chevelles'. The wife has a 69 chevelle wagon that hauls the kids around in the summer and has the coolest ride at baseball practice.Looking for another 70 1/2 Camaro to start a project with my boys (8 & 6) who are total gear heads.

by Dillon Martin 2 months agoThank you. And I know what you mean about make it your own. It is not the original cab, the extra window behind the door was never actually produced by ford. I can only find one other 32 like this. But I am gonna paint it blue and make it even faster. :)
I reallly like your car though. Have you ever taken it to a drag strip. What are your times. I'm gonna run an 1/8 mile soon, but I have no clue what I'm gonna get. (I have no experience racing, but my dad does and he'll run it once too) -
by Dillon Martin 3 months agoDo you have a picture of your 32 ford bbc. I have a 32 ford with a sbc and it is tight fitting in the car. I don't know how you would get it to fit.
Also, my brother is building a 1970 chevelle ss, with a 396 and the origninal trans and only slightly modified engine. Do you think this will faster than my truck. Mine is all fiberglass so it is really light, but I only have a 327 small block with a turbo 350. -
